If tarot is a map, oracle cards are threshold with vibes.
Oracle cards are kind of like tarot cards but they play it free and loose when it comes to structure.
There’s no standard system or set number of cards for example. Each deck creates its own language.
Where tarot follows a shared framework, oracle decks are completely fluid. Each one defines its own symbols, moods, and meanings.
This deck started life as an artbook project at Fodder School.
I didn’t see how each page of this book was a standalone oracle card; I was focusing on the gold paint, the cardboard, the stitches and mark-making. It’s just one day I blinked in a certain way, & realised that each page offers a fragment rather than a conclusion.
