Dreamy Image Packs For Your Creative Projects

Looking for ready-to-use, ethically sourced images for art journaling, junk journals, collage, mail art, ATCs or zines?

These downloadable collage packs are designed so you can simply print, cut, and start creating – no image hunting, scanning, or background-removal required.

All images in these packs have been carefully sourced and edited by me, with backgrounds removed wherever possible so they’re easy to cut out and layer into your work.

Ethically Sourced, Ready-To-Use Collage Images. AI-free.

All images in these printable collage sheets are ethically sourced and free for you to use in your personal projects. Most of them come from generous online archives such as The Public Domain Review, an online journal dedicated to showcasing fascinating and unusual out-of-copyright works from around the web.

I then clean, crop, and remove backgrounds so you get high-quality cut-outs that are actually usable in sketchbooks, journals, happy mail, and mixed-media pieces.

What Can You Do With These Collage Packs?

Not sure where to start with your brand-new printable collage material? Here are some of my favourite ways to use the curated imagery to spark ideas!

Art journaling and junk journaling

Use the images to add focal points, borders, tabs, and tuck spots to your art journal or junk journal pages.

Junk journaling is a form of art journaling that uses found and recycled materials like old books, magazines, envelopes and ephemera to build layered, textured pages.

If you’re new to this kind of visual journaling, I explain the mix of experimentation, reflection, and self-directed art therapy here: Art journaling: what, how and why.

Collage and mixed media art

Print, cut, and layer images to create entirely new compositions.

Combine vintage botanicals with diagrams, textures, and text fragments to tell little visual stories.

Make your own zine

Collage packs are ideal for filling pages, covers, and inserts in handmade zines.

A zine (short for “fanzine”) is a small-batch, self-published booklet that mixes text, images, and artwork to share your ideas, stories, or obsessions.

Mail art, happy mail, and penpal letters

Turn everyday letters into tiny works of art by decorating envelopes, letter paper, and little tuck-in goodies with your collage pieces.

You can build themed envelopes, flipbooks, or mini booklets to send to pen pals and swap partners.

Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)

These printable images are the perfect size for artist trading cards – small, collectible artworks you swap with other creatives. A standard ATC measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches (about 64 x 89 mm), the same size as modern trading cards or Instax Mini photos.

You can collage a tiny scene, add a word or phrase, and finish the back with your name and date. Learn more here: Spotlight on Artist Trading Cards.

How To Get The Most Out Of Your Printable Collage Packs

To get crisp, satisfying results from your downloads, I recommend:

  1. Printing on slightly thicker paper or lightweight cardstock so pieces are sturdy enough to glue, tuck, and layer.

  2. Keeping a small tray or envelope on your desk for pre-cut elements so you can collage quickly during short creative breaks.

  3. Combining the images with your own scraps: ticket stubs, receipts, packaging, and found paper make beautiful backgrounds for the curated imagery.

Think of each pack as a starting point. A little cabinet of curiosities you can rearrange however you like.
